Recap 4

      In the last few games of the season the varsity rebels were on a 5 game winning streak and at one time were tied for first place. After there winning steak the rebels had 4 crucial games ending the season, they faced Century 2 games and 2 games against Katella. The rebels were fighting for a spot in the playoffs. The two games against Century were lost 9-1 and 4-2. That pushed the Rebels out of first and down to third. The rebels couldn't get third place and lost the last two games against Katella. The jv team ended their season undefeated and in the last game pulled off an amazing victory 4-3 against Katella to seal the undefeated season. The frosoph team ended 4-7-1 losing a lot of games that should have been won.

Recap 3

  To start off the league the Varsity Rebels toughened out a win against Anaheim 9-8. It was an exciting victory for the rebels and good way to start off league. In their next league game the rebels played Magnolia and lost 2-1. In Jv's league opener they pulled off an exciting 3-2 victory over Anaheim. In their next game the rebels smashed on Magnolia 15-4. The frosoph team opened their league against Anaheim and lost 9-8. Since Magnolia doesn't have a frosoph team they team played Firebaugh and came back to tie 11-11.

Recap week 2

    In the next week of Savanna baseball the Varsity team played Loara and finally picked up their first victory of the season 7-3. In their next game the Rebels played Woodbridge and could not come out on top they lost 7-3. The Junior Varsity squad had played against Western and came out on top 7-6. Their next game however was against Troy and they lost 4-1. Now for the Frosoph team, they had played against Western and things didn't end their way and had lost in a walk off 9-8. The frosoph team then played troy and lost 11-0.

Recap of the season Week 1

   The first week of baseball season went by so quick. The varsity team loss the first two games of the season. The team had played West to open up the season, they lost a tough one 3-2. It was a tied ball game up until the 8th inning, they gave up what would be the winning run. They next game they played Woodrow Wilson they game wasn't even close they lost 8-1. The Junior Varsity team played their first game against Troy and had pulled away with a victory 5-4. Their next game however was different they played  Northwood and had lost 6-1. Now going on to the Frosoph team, they had played their first game against Troy and things didn't go their way they lost 24-0. Their next game was against Northwood and lost 11-0. Savanna Baseball

   This season has been not what everybody or the coaches expected. Junior Varsity is the only one of the three levels who is going to win orange league. Varsity was on top for like a week than it just didn't go their way. Varsity wasn't able to close things down, they fought until the end but things didn't finish the way they intended. It was a disappointing season for varsity, they had so much hype but just couldn't live up to it. Unlike varsity, the junior varsity squad managed to go undefeated and win Orange League, their team was filled with a group of guys that had one goal, go undefeated in league. They accomplished that in a thrilling game at Boysen park against Katella. The junior varsity won 3-2 with a comeback win, with clutch hitting and shut down pitching. The Rebels have bright things to look up for next year.
